The Behboodi Personal-Public Library was established in 1979 in the basement of the paternal home in the city of Kashmar, with a vision to promote a culture of reading and knowledge. This initiative, undertaken during his early youth, marked the first step on a path toward social responsibility and fostering a connection between education and society.

By curating a collection of valuable resources, the Behboodi Library provided a space for those eager for knowledge and learning. In 1987, he began a collaboration on prefabricated civil and construction projects for the National Iranian Oil Company in Isfahan (Dezh Company), which lasted for two years. This activity focused on the strategic Marun pipeline projects and served as a valuable experience in the management of large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects.

This period provided essential experience, fostering familiarity with rigorous technical standards, human resource management, and the requirements of national projects during the sensitive conditions of that time.

In 2007, Novin Saffron Company expanded its industrial infrastructure and obtained internationally recognized standards, becoming one of the largest saffron processing and packaging facilities in the industry.

Through extensive and specialized activities, Novin Saffron has been an innovator and promoter of modern methods in saffron cultivation and processing. The company’s saffron farms produce a completely natural and organic product of the highest quality, cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

Among the company’s major achievements are the establishment of one of the largest hygienic saffron processing and packaging facilities operating under clean room conditions, the design and production of more than 400 types of packaging tailored to diverse consumer preferences, extensive scientific research, and the production and export of saffron to five continents around the world.

Since 2019, as a member of the Board of Representatives of the Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce, Ali Shariati-Moghaddam has played an influential role in outlining export development strategies and strengthening the value chain of agricultural products. Drawing on his extensive years of experience in the saffron industry and macro-management, he currently serves as the Head of the “Knowledge-Based Businesses and Digital Economy” Commission of the Chamber of Commerce, working to pave the way for technological activities and the modernization of the province’s economic infrastructure.

His efforts within this institution are focused on addressing the legal challenges faced by exporters, facilitating restrictive production regulations, and bridging the gap between the agricultural industry and modern technologies. In specialized meetings and commissions, Shariati-Moghaddam has consistently been a staunch advocate for reducing government intervention in production and export affairs, placing significant emphasis on the necessity of leveraging collective intelligence and expertise to penetrate global markets. His presence in this position reflects his commitment to balanced development and the utilization of modern tools to elevate the standing of Khorasan’s economy at both national and international levels.
